Prowling curiously around the stalls, Dawn looked at every single item on the Sunday afternoon Diagon market before sighing. She wasn't actually sure what she wanted; just something to buy. Catching sight of something flashy on a table she wandered over and looked down. What she saw made her scowl. A mirror, with a title over the top of 'The Mirror of Dreams'. Inside it showed you, but more beautiful and dazzling than any before. Glancing inside Dawn saw herself just like that. Her hair was vibrant, her eyes sharp, her skin perfect. But it wasn't her. She hated that kind of thing; it completely took away the idea of self-achievement. Scowling at the mirror she walked slowly on, now and then looking at small things of minor interest.

At the moment that particular girl had looked in this... mirror thing Kami had walked into the store to see just what he could find. It wasn't like he was searching for some human contact... oh no... He would never. No matter in what way he lied to himself he watched the girl with the mirror. What exactly was there to see in the mirror there? Curiosity bit over him and he moved to the Mirror looking into it. 'Mirror of Dreams,' ne? That must mean it would reveal his dreams right?
When he looked into it a bit deeper actually paying attention he was not offended by what he saw. Merely himself, he was oblivious to all other details that might have been improved. Though he was surprised this mirror didn't tap into his dreams and show nothing, show that he was non-existent like he so wished. But, regardless he sighed, what did other people see? Immediately that girl popped into his head. What did she see? She was pretty enough not to need to see any... 'improvements'… in the nature of her looks. And so he walked over to her and tapped her on the shoulder.

Dawn came to another table and glanced down at it, then grinned. Another mirror. This one was far more amusing. 'The Mirror of DreamsRuins' was etched on the top, and while the other mirror had been shining silver and dazzling gold in colour, this one was grey and black, and almost coated in dust. Much nicer, Dawn thought with a smile. She bent over and looked into it, and gasped at what she saw.
It was her, like the reflection in the other mirror had been. But as she grinned, the reflection did too and showed several teeth missing, while two were yellow-black. Her hair was matted and at odd-lengths, her eyes were red and puffy, and her skin covered in pimples and several over-sized moles. She looked.... repulsive. Laughing lightly, she felt a tap on her shoulder and turned with her smile still on her face. It stayed there as she took in the character in front of her. He was in her year, though a Slytherin. Nothing wrong with that. His hair was white and he looked... interesting. Different from most of the guys she saw, anyway.
"Umm.. hey. You're Kami, right?" She asked, slightly unsure of what to say.

He was slightly taken aback at her knowing his name but also insulted. "Kami-san." he said slightly stressing the san at the end of his name just to make sure she would say it lest she insult him again and make him angry. "I'm sure you didn't mean to be impolite." he said stressing the right words showing how very offensive to him ti was that he was called by only his first name. "How do you know my name?" he questioned now completely thrown off of what he had meant to ask her about what she saw in the mirror.
It wasn't like it was a live or die answer anyways. But still. He hated it when he realized hours later that he did not realize that he had not done his initial intentions. THe glittering sun on the mirror caught his attention and he slid past her, without touching her, and stood over the mirror looking into it without reading what was on it. Instead of it just surprizing him he was horrifed at what he saw. His skin was drawn close to his skull like he'd been sucked dry, and it was black and crinkly like he'd just stepped out of a fireplace. The whites of his eyes were yellow and buldging and his hair was so dirty it was nearly black.
He jumped backwards so he didn't have to look at the mirror touching his soft skin and not feeling char though he bumped into a man and he turned around giving the man a toothy grin, his upper canine teeth shorper then a normal humans but he never used them for anything he was only a human. Moving away from the man, he stood on Dawns other side waiting for her answer. Kami didn't like touching people.

Dawn raised an eyebrow. "Sorry, Kami-San. I didn't mean to offend. I know your name because firstly I am a prefect, secondly it's not hard to know the names of everyone in my year, and thirdly because I've spoken about you with a friend." She explained, then smiled as Kami looked into the mirror. Laughing lightly she nodded. "Pretty, wasn't it?" She laughed.
