Walking through Hogsmeade « Thread Started on Aug 3, 2006, 9:52am »
Sophie walked around aimlessly through Hogsmeade. Normally she would be with Emerald or Harley but both were busy at the moment with something or other and Sophie was somewhat relieved at the break from her friends because it allowed her time to think and figure things out. Steering off main road she took the trail that lead to the shrieking shack. She might have been a bit strange in this because other than honeydukes, the shack was Sophies favorite place, but then again she loved going to haunted places, and anything to do with mysteries. As she reached the shack, she allowed her mind to wonder, finding the mystery of the shrieking shack very appealing, especially since it was the most haunted building in all of Brittain, but no one new why. That was Sophie's favorite part of anything asking why, solving the riddle, the shack was a riddle she had been wanting to solve since third year.

Ryan emerged from the shack and looked around, seeing if he was safe. People from the town were constantly on the lookout searching for intruders to the Shrieking Shack and Ryan didn't want anyone knowing what was going on inside. He walked on a little, knowing that there was no danger. As he did so he caught sight of Sophia and walked over to her with a smile. "Hey Soph, you ok?" He asked her in a friendly tone.

"Yeah just thinking, and wondering, I like coming to haunted houses and stuff and try to figure out their history, but then again I'm weird like that." Sophie laughed, "Wheres Dawn by the way?" She asked it was very rare to see one without the other not that they were one of those disgusting PDA couples, they just spent as much time as possible together since they didn't have the same house.

Ryan grinned. "Nah, that's not wierd." He smiled again as she spoke about Dawn. He'd got used to the fact that people now thought it wierd that they didn't go everywhere together. Ryan didn't mind it when people questioned the wherabouts of the other, though now and then it got annoying when people asked. Especially when the Slytherins did, though Ryan knew they were jealous that they didn't have someone to love unlike himself. "She's off buying the new Dragoneye broom. It's her birthday soon and her parents gave her early money. You got it? It's gorgeous. I got it on release." He said, then shivered slightly. "Want to get a coffee or other drink somewhere? It's on me." He smiled as he offered.

"Sure, I want to hear more about that broom I've been begging my parents for one for months." Sophie laughed she was definitely a quidditch fanatic if nothing else and it was nice to occasionaly talk to people that enjoyied the sport almost as much as her considering the fact that she had to beg most of her friends, and her relatives to play with her.
